Went to the Barge Inn near Pewsey, Wiltshire at the weekend to celebrate Tony Crackburn’s 40th!
Took advantage of the scorching weather to crack out the barbie and roast up some ribs and other delights.
Grilling the Aubergines for babaganush
The babaganush was stuffed inside some turkish peppers. A bit bland in the end – none of that rich smokeyness that you’d expect.

wahhayyy !, and what a cracker (no pun intended) of a weekend it was !…Myself and Mr Law in the middle of nature trying to outdo each other with our culinary skills !…Mr Law took the contest(marginally) with his ribs…absolutley spectacular…only Ray Mears could possibly of done better !…Cant wait for the restaurant to open, its gonna be the new Fat Duck…The Fat Crack !!
